Yealands Core Range Marlborough Pinot Gris 750mL

Fresh from a rebrand, Yealands wines seem to have been around forever, such is their presence in the NZ market, but indeed they have only been around since 2008. The value they offer as everyday drinking options are rivalled by few labels if any, and this 2019 Yealands Pinot Gris shows all the hallmarks of the variety, just fractionally off dry with a luscious fruit texture and a charming pear, apple and spice character.

Beautiful aromas showing pear drops, florals and ripe apples, a hint of quince showing through.

Luscious and very moreish, the full fruit flavours of nashi pear, red gala apples and peach build across the palate, leading to a refreshing and charming finish. Great everyday drinking wine that’s a cut above, try it with Asian spiced cuisine or summer picnics.
