Attractive blueberry fruit with some choc/mint undertones as well as a little spice and earthiness that add some complexity.
The oak is very much in the background.
Rich, ripe and approachable, the sweetish blueberry and plum flavours are balanced nicely by fine tannins and nice fresh acidity.
The richness and softness of the Shiraz (90%) is complimented by the slightly rustic tannins of the Tempranillo 10%.
Maturation takes place in high quality French oak barrels. Sourced from several different regions and producers – to increase our wine’s complexity, structure and balance. Once maturation is complete, and after gentle fining and filtration where necessary, our finished wines are bottled.
