The grapes for this delicious Sauvignon Blanc were grown in the highly acclaimed Awatere wine region of Marlborough. 2019 produced clean, healthy, flavoursome fruit. The fruit for this wine was harvested on 3rd April 2019 at 21.4° Brix.
Fermentation was initiated and proceeded in a slow controlled manner to preserve both the varietal fruitiness and its aromatic intensity. It was lightly fined, followed by stabilisation prior to bottling during July 2019 under screwcap.
This deliciously vibrant Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, made in an off-dry style, offers intense passionfruit and gooseberry flavours accompanied with attractive cut-grass, apricot and tomato leaf notes. Immensely enjoyable on its own, it will also match beautifully with Asian and seafood dishes.
