A lovely deep burgundy which at four years old is showing brick red hues on the rim, the nose shows a lovely interplay between the spicy sweet oak, bright cherry and the bottle development, which shows itself with hints of porcini mushrooms and forest floor. The palate is relatively big with soft round tannins and a lovely weight, charry oak notes add depth and complexity to the wines natural berry fruit character.
