Thanks to 175 years of experience in Hermitage, Delas is a serious, demanding wine house, which protects the taste of the terroir in each of its Côtes-du-Rhône appellations. It all began in Tournon-sur-Rhône in 1835, when Charles Audibert and Philippe Delas acquired a wine merchant which they named Audibert et Delas before a generation later when it became DELAS Frères.
The Maison’s directors have always had the same obsession; to achieve the continuous production of high-quality wines. In 1996, the spirit and soul that contributed to its reputation for high quality wines was restored. Today, a highly-motivated team are proud to play a part in the aim to perpetuate and enhance the expression of the Terroir.
A bright and juicy Syrah from the southern Ardeche in France.
This wine has a fresh, lifted bouquet of fragrant dark red berry fruits intermingling with white and black pepper, herbs and earth.
Medium-light bodied, the palate features brisk racy acidity and grainy tannins which support beautifully lifted raspberry fruit flavours.
