2006 Dalwhinnie double-matured in ex-bodega Oloroso cask wood for a rich sweetness and spicy complexity to enhance the heathery, honeyed aromas and tastes of the regular release. Part of our 2021 Distillers Edition range. Limited quantities worldwide.

NOSE

Fresh notes of Oloroso embrace malty, honeyed Dalwhinnie. Peaty and still heathery. Spicy yet grapey.

PALATE

A big, spicy buzz, with very clear, well defined malt. A quick burst of sweetness then rich and grapey.

FINISH

Tons of oak. Very, very dry, with vanilla dominating.
