Bruichladdich’s Black Art series shines a spotlight on some of the Islay distillery’s most intriguing whisky – but it doesn’t shine a spotlight on its recipe. The casks this expression matured in are known to master distiller Adam Hannett, but that information is unknown to us. What we do know, however, is that it’s a 29 year old single malt, distilled back in 1992, before Bruichladdich was closed in the mid-1990s (to be reopened in 2001). Mysterious and delicious!
