A rich creamy palate with stonefruit flavours enhanced by a vibrant citrus finish. A delicate wine with flavours of apricot, nectarine, grapefruit, hazelnut with a touch of ginger. This wine may be enjoyed now, but will continue to develop complexity with careful cellaring for two to five years from the vintage year.
Boundary Vineyards has six premium vineyard plots located in key New Zealand winemaking regions. With each of the sites we’ve tried to best match the specific varietal clone to that climate and terrain. Our vineyard managers work meticulously on each site to obtain the best possible fruit intensity at harvest. To reflect the individuality of each our wines, each carries its own name, that of the road bordering the vineyard site.
Food Pairing: Chardonnay is a perfect accompaniment to oily seafood’s such as salmon and also a wide variety of meat matches. Smoked chicken salads work especially well.
