Aged for three years in the cellars of Bodegas Navalon in the small DO Valdepeñas, located in the heart of Spain. Bodegas Navalon has been the passion of the same local family for several generations. It specializes in producing classic, oak-aged Spanish red wines that are only released when they have reached the peak of perfection.

Anciano Crianza Valdepenas 3 year is a 100% Tempranillo wine from the Valdepenas DO is aged in the cellars of Bodegas Navalon.

The grapes were picked in 2006 from 30+ year old vines and the wines were aged in a combination of French and American oak barrels for 6 months with the remaining time in bottle. The aromas are intense with red and dark cherry fruit, smokiness, and hints of vanilla and spice.

The flavors are layered with fruit and toasty oak balanced by acidity.
