The Squealing Pig Central Otago 2010 Pinot Noir is a must try. The wine is crafted from selected parcels of fruit from premium vineyards in Central Otago and is a dense-coloured, velvet textured wine with blackberry, cherry and cocoa characteristics. 10 months in French Oak barrels and the cutest name and label you’ll have seen in a while. Americans in particular will adore this wine as they love animals on their labels.
They call it ‘Critter Wine’. So Squealing Pig’s Pinot Noir will go well here downunder, especially if cellared, and with the Northern Hemisphere folk as well.
