The grapes for this fine wine were grown in aselected vineyard located in the Crownthorpe district of Hawkes Bay. 2014 proved to be an excellent growing seasonallowing the fruit to be harvested on 29 March 2014 atoptimum flavour profile. The juice was fermented predominantly in stainlesssteel tanks (approximately 11% barrel fermented) The portions were blended on 17thJuly 2014, followed by bottling under screwcap on 2nd September 2013. This rich multi-faceted Chardonnay hasintense apricot and peach flavours, with lovely nuances of lychee and gingerspice, and subtle oak seasoning. It is adelightful wine, with immediate appeal, for enjoyment on its own or toaccompany your favourite chicken, salmon or risotto dish.
