Frescobaldi Tenuta Perano Chianti Classico DOCG

With more than 30 generations and 700 years behind them, the Frescobaldi family are one of the great winemaking families of Tuscany. Tenuta Perano is born on the hills of Gaiole. A gorgeous amphitheatre, 500m above sea level orientated towards the sun, a unique site producing intense wines with robust tannins, yet retaining an elegance. Chianti Classico Riserva means lower crop levels, riper grapes and longer ageing, producing a fuller-bodied and more complex wine. One to cellar.

Dark plumy fruits, leather and spice give an alluring array of flavours with salivating tannins that will benefit from a few years (8-10 years) in the cellar. Or if you can’t resist, decant.
