BenRiach 22 Years Old Moscatel Finish Speyside Single Malt Whisky 700mL

THE BENRIACH DISTILLERY CO. LTD In 2004, the BenRiach Distillery Company Ltd was established with the acquisition of The BenRiach Distillery by an independent consortium led by Billy Walker.

In 2008, the company purchased the iconic GlenDronach Distillery, located in Forgue by Huntly in Aberdeenshire. The GlenDronach is world famous for producing richly sherried single malt whisky and has a long standing history dating back to 1826.

In 2013, the BenRiach Distillery Company Ltd acquired Glenglassaugh Distillery, which lies on the Moray Firth coast, near Portsoy. Glenglassaugh is a coastal Highland malt with a fruity character and stocks dating back to 1963.

Today our distilleries are once again producing single malt whiskies as independent distilleries and a bright and exciting future lies ahead for all.

Matured in the traditional style in American BOURBON barrels, this whisky is then finished in MOSCATEL wine casks, sourced from Portugal. During this second period of maturation this whisky interacts with the wood and derives a number of additional flavours and AROMAS specific to the Moscatel cask.
